A gentle form of stretching done seated and beside a chair. Ideal for those suffering from weakness, tension, and inflammation of the joints. Special focus is given to improve balance, center the body and still mind through breathing and movement. Some blocks and straps are used to modify the practice.
Sit and Be Fit
Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the Aspen Room
Designed to balance out the body by way of core strengthening. We work to provide flexibility, balance, agility, circulation, and range of motion - all through simple movements in and around a chair. Some blocks, straps, and light weights are used.
