The Senior Center
hosts a variety of activities, workshops, seminars and instructional classes.
We
have available seasonal arts and crafts of various types and special activities
take place in the evenings. Along with the
regularly scheduled activites shown below, a schedule of activties is published in our monthly newsletter and also at the
Senior Center.

SENIOR
FITNESS
Exercise classes
are available on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:30 am and again at
10:55 am. There is no charge for the class which provides a wonderful
opportunity for socialization and to improve balance and stamina.
Aqua fitness is available at the YMCA Pool.
Please call the Y at 684-9558 for more information. You do not need to
know how to swim to join and arrangements can be made for the handicapped
person wishing to participate.
CAREGIVER SUPPORT
GROUP
The support group provides education information
related to Alzheimers and other dementias, understanding and support for
caregivers, community resource referral, and a lot more. This group
meets the first Tuesday of every month at 2:00pm in the Medical Education
Room at Johnson County Healthcare Center. Please contant Kellie Jensen
